Last year my relatives contacted Christies in hope they would auction our family heirlooms. At different times those precious, (formally-)priceless objects had belonged to my great-grandmother Ethel, Third-Cousin-Twice-Removed Frank, Uncle Derek and, scandalously, Aunty Marjorie. Disappointingly, Christies were unavailable and the fire sale we had instead did not yield enough to fund our bi-annual family holiday to Albury-Wodonga, planned for November 2016. Thanks to one very generous patron however, we were able to purchase the urgently needed new cheese grater (Bluetooth compatible, gold plated) and a wireless (mysteriously connecting only to Smooth FM). And so it brings us great pleasure to announce that The Lawrence Family Collection will be on timely display and for sale again at another illustrious venue, proceeds of course going towards our holiday fund. Buyers of heirlooms will receive a complementary greetings card, handwritten by a member of the Lawrence family, and a sun-dried partially-used teabag as a special token of our appreciation. Do not miss this incredible opportunity!
