Erin noticed that my neighbours prop their window open with a book called The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Maryanne, who works in HR, offered our friends 7 Habits of Highly Effective People training but no one could commit — except for Georgie, who already demonstrates many of the Habits of a Highly Effective Person. The other day, I peered over the neighbours’ fence. The book was gone, the window closed and a different window left open — one that stays open on its own.

My high school art teacher was a very eccentric woman. She’d often say strange things — & do stranger things — but our whole class did get pretty good at drawing. After finishing school I studied fine art for three years — obviously!?! A few months after graduating, I ran into this teacher again — she was sitting in a cafe & we had a really nice catch up. She didn’t seem so weird anymore, but she was exactly the same.

Quality Family Time
My dad showed me his favourite book. Photography. This is an excerpt, pages 48-49 — a pretty good indication of the book’s entirety. Apparently this book is good teaching material.
