Participants joined Bianca Gannon and I on an adventure through the music, art and food traditions of our nearest neighbours — Indonesia. As we journeyed through The Sound of Shadows, participants played endangered food-related musical instruments such as the duck herders’ Bundengan, tried out traditional shadow puppets and puppets made by young participants from our April sessions, and sampled delicious Indonesian food!
